Over 30 years ago, Rev. Nunez founded Help 4 Kidz – a non-profit organization that has received national recognition for its work on behalf of at-risk children and teens. At the peak of its ministry, the Help 4 Kidz food drives, kids church services, and 14 school buses were an Arizona icon – drawing support from bi-partisan politicians, national sports organizations, private-sector companies, and countless other philanthropic groups. The non-profit’s current initiative, Prayer House DC, is located on Capitol Hill – hosting faith leaders, missionaries, and youth groups from across the globe. Rev. Nunez founded the organization in loving memory of her 15-year-old son, Frankie, who died from a terminal brain tumor. Rev. Nunez is the Founder and President of the National Latina/Latino Commission (NLLC), which helps Latino churches partner with community organizations, local governments and faith-based organizations to better serve their communities through substance abuse recovery and prevention, affordable housing acquisition, work force investment, mentoring, and other critical functions. She also previously served as a youth Pastor for Rev. Roy De La Garza Ministries for over 40 years in Phoenix, Arizona. She continues to mentor youth across the United States. Committed to strengthening the U.S.-Israel relationship, Rev. Nunez is an active club member of the American Israel Public Affairs Committee and a board member of the Latino Coalition for Israel. She is also an advisory board member of the Israel Christian Embassy in Jerusalem, which, for over 40 years, reaches out to all segments of Israeli society with tangible expressions of Christian love and concern. In December 2025, she participated in the Friends of Israel Ambassador Program – a delegation of over 100 U.S. Pastors to Israel.
